Final finish and maintenance coat for Classic.

Sansin Classic Clear UV is a durable top-coat formula designed as the final step of the Classic application system. May also be applied as a maintenance coat to existing Classic coatings. Consider Classic Topcoat in place of Classic Clear UV for surfaces subjected to prolonged moisture.

CLASSIC CLEAR UV
DESCRIPTION Sansin Classic Clear UV is a resistant, amber colored, penetrating, aqueous, low VOC top coat for wood surfaces previously treated with Sansin Classic. Classic Clear UV is also available as Clear Plus UV (0612) for more porous, aged wood surfaces.
APPLICATIONS
Classic Clear UV is recommended for use as the finishing third application to Sansin Classic transparent natural finishes on new and old exterior wood surfaces such as siding, logs, timbers, board and batten. Classic Clear UV may be mixed with up to 20% of the applied color of Sansin Classic to achieve stronger tones when used as the final coat or to dilute tones when used in the initial coats.

PREPARATION
Inspect wood surfaces for defects
Power wash the entire surface
Counter sink nails and repair damaged areas
Sand machined or mill glazed surfaces to ensure porosity
Surface must be clean, free from dust, dirt, grease or wax

Always flood surface to the point of saturation

WORKING PROCEDURE
Saturate the wood surface
Brush out any puddles and runs
Do not apply in heat of day or direct sun
Do not apply on wood that is warm to the touch
Can be applied on wood with higher moisture content; up to 25%
Do not apply if rain or freezing temperatures are expected

STORAGE
Shelf life when stored in ideal conditions is 3 years.
Store at a temperature of between + 10oC and +
30oC (50oF and 86oF). Keep containers tightly
closed.
SAFETY
Rags or waste soaked with this product may
spontaneously catch fire if improperly discarded.
Immediately after use, place rags or waste in a
sealed water-filled metal container. See Material
Safety Data Sheet
WARNING TO USERS
Keep out of reach of children, if swallowed
immediately drink two glasses of milk or warm
water. Do not induce vomiting. Call physician
immediately. Avoid contact with skin or eyes; flush
with soap and water. Avoid breathing of vapor or
mist. Wear a properly fitted NIOSH approved
respirator.
